Would you go to hawaii for a month vacation by yourself if you had the chance?

I graduated college and before I begin working full time I would like to make a long vacation before I begin. I have always wanted to make the move to hawaii but am having second thoughts about it. Anyway, I thought that if I just take a month vacation to Oahu or Maui it would get it out of my system. I am obsessed with hawaii, been there many times, but never by myself. I would stay in a hostel so I could meet people. Anyway, I have the money for the plane and hostel and Enough for basics like food, some drinks, and tiny bit of touring. Just planning on hitting the beach every day and taking public transportation to tour the island. Anyway, I am nervous that I will regret spending the couple grand I saved up, especially if I get bored and wind up not having as much fun as I thought I would. It is freezing now and I want out of the snow! Do you think I should just go for it? Better take a shot and fail than always wonder what if! Plus I have a job lined up for me when I get back here in Chicago………
I am just so nervous about the being by myself kind of thing, the dorms dont bother me because I lived in college dorms for 2 years and am used to living with other people……
