I want ALL of my girls, and MY hubby and I, for that matter to have a great time. Is there an island, hotel, that might cater to all of our interests?
send me links if you have any, thanks
oh i forgot my hubby and my interests
he’s into lounging, relaxing, sleeping, then nightlife jazz (so we need a nice hotel)
I am into dining, I love to try new foods, and tend to like finer cuisine, so i go to eat at great places, and try things I would never do at home
we both love sushi

Grand Wailea Resort…Maui.
i didn’t stay there but we ate dinner there once and it’s supposed to be great for families.

All the islands are wonderful, but Maui is the most pricey, keep that in mind. Look into Honolulu, great hotels, lots to do. And wonderful beaches. There is hiking, tours, sailing, going sightseeing. The hotels on the ocean are a little more then the ones across the street, yet the hotels across the street offer just as much.
for your research:
Have a great time.

I say maui or honolulu, both are beautiful, yet maui is big money.
Here’s a pretty good site to help you plan your stay. ENJOY!

I would say you need to be in Waikiki. They got a whole bunch of hotels you can book depending on your budget. Oahu has the most activities for kids like the Water Park, Sea Life Park, and the Polynesian Culture Center among other things.

Oahu has the most variety. I would recommend a hotel at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki near Kapiolani Park. There will be a lot for the kids to do – the Aquarium & zoo are just steps away, the beach is right across the street. There is a lot to do & see on Oahu. You can do hikes that are easy (you’ll need to carry the baby) like Diamond Head. You can do catamaran rides. There is plenty of shopping & good restaurants. There is a water park. The Oceanarium restaurant has a huge (a couple of stories high) aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. There are a couple of places where you can swim w/ dophins.
Hope you have a wonderful time!

I would cross out big island, i used to live there and there was not much to do except see the volcano flow
oahu has the most going on all around the island, interests of all ages
get a hotel down in waikiki, there are a bunch of places within walking distance down there, then rent a car and explore the island
i personally really like the hilton
i hope you guys all have fun!!!

I usually reccomend the BIg Island, but I think for you guys, do Oahu. It’s really the only island with any nightlife, the beaches in Waikiki are really kid friendly, plus the zoo is right there.
Hike up to Monoa falls, it’s about the right length for the two eldest and the littlest you guys can carry. (be prepared for mud)
MUST Go to Alan Wong’s resturant on King Street.
MUST go to Roys resturant.
Must do sea life park. (dophin show:…great for kids) plus it’s right by some great beaches.
