Is having a wedding at the Four Seasons in Hawaii (Kona) “all that”?

My fiance are getting married in October in Kona, Hawaii, and we are wondering if it’s worth paying $7,500 for a wedding at the Four Seasons. You can get wedding coordinators and similiar weddings at other locations for as low as $500-$1000, so is the Four Seasons just a big rip-off?

Also — has anyone had their “reception” or dinner at the Four Seasons after their wedding? We’re thinking of doing the Family Dinner on the Beach where the chef cooks out on the beach right there in front of you. Just curious.
Any personal experiences would be great! Thanks in advance …

Honestly, I’d never personally pay that much for a wedding location unless I completely completely fell in love with the place. Have you been there and seen it? Or plan on going after you pay? If you like it that much, and can afford it..go for it!
Personally, I dunno, I think there are plenty of much cheaper places that can be just as beautiful..
It’s kind of like buying jewelry from Tiffanys..all you’re paying for is the blue box, you know? You can find jewels just as beautiful somewhere else for much less.
