Has anyone ever stayed there? What are some activities to do at that resort (besides the beach)? I’m staying there for 3 days at the end of the month.

It’s probably the nicest place you could stay in Waikiki…
There’s great shopping, great dining, easy access to the beach. Basically, you are within walking distance to everything in Waikiki, which is a lot. You won’t have trouble filling your days…

which island? i haven’t stayed there, but just spend 10 days in Kona, on the bid island. I snorkled, hiked in the volcanoes, rented kayaks. there is so much to do there. have fun, 3 days it not very long though so you have to squeeze it all in.

We stayed there in the late 80′s. Thought is was a really nice place. We stayed in that section that has it’s own private pool (sorry, don’t remember what it was called, but not the rainbow tower). Activities? It’s a hotel. It has swimming pools and it’s on the beach. Rent a car and take a drive around the island. Tell the concierge what you think you would like to do and they will offer suggestions. Take a surfing lesson. Go snorkeling. Take a hike. Learn how to scuba dive. Take a ride on the semi-submersible. Go to North Shore and watch the surfers, if there’s surf, or take your picinic lunch and evaluate the latest in beach attire.
