Hawaiian Wedding – which island?

chamlo asked:

My partner and I are looking at having a sunset beach wedding in Hawaii. We are thinking either May or November (off-season) and inviting 20 people.

For a beach wedding, which island would you recommend?

I would say Maui, it’s famous for it’s beaches. Maui was my favorite of all the islands when I visited Hawaii. We went to 3 of the islands.

maui is nice and has lots to do……kauai is nice less “touristy” kona is more natives……every island has its own benefits but if you are looking for fun and beauty…maui!

I had a vow renewal years ago n Kauai – it was lovely. Kauai is the “Garden Isle” and the south side is lovely. It’s also less crowded than Maui, so you might find a great deal. We used Pastor Harold Kilborn who is a native Hawaiian minister – Great Guy! He even blew the conch shell & everything – and took pics with my hubby’s camera & arranged a little cake for us. I’ve been to all the islands & I think that Kauai is the best for weddings. Pastor Kilborn info -

My #2 choice is Kauai….very nice and quiet.
