hawaii this christmas :D ?

im going to hawaii for christmas break with my mom, dad, sister, family friends with their 2 sons and daughter. we’re going from december 27- jan 3. were staying in Hilo at the Waikoloa Beach Mariott Resort and Spa. has anyone been there either in Hawaii or this resort before? if so, how was it? any tips/recommendations? thanks so much!!!

Well Ive been to Hawaii but Ive never been to where you’re going. I went to Oahu and Maui for 10 days total. I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. In Honolulu. It was awesome! I also biked down Mt. Haleakala (On Maui)
