About how long does it take to play 18 holes at Waikoloa Beach course?
Patrick’s wife asked:
On the Big Island of Hawaii. Course is 6500 yards designed by Robert Trent Jones, par 70, course rating 71.6, slope 134. I play pretty fast, but am about a 30 handicapper and will be out with a group of 3 (the other two are better than me).

depending on the tee time and how many other foursomes are ahead of you I would proabably say a good 4-4-1/2 hours

I played the King’s course this summer in about 4 1/2 hours with one other guy who was SLOW and he shot 135.
If you get a chance play…
Mauna Lani Resort South Course
This was great you are either hitting your ball into emeral green fairways, black lava fields, or the ocean.

It should take 4 to 5 hours depending on how crowded the course is. Most important, if you’re a 30 handicap, pick up after 6 or 7 shots on every hole. Nobody wants to see you hit the ball 10 times.
