Actually, the most affordable way to see all the islands w/o having to repack and unapck is to take a cruise around the Hwaiian islands. I just got back from one and it's fabulous. You get on in Oahu (so you can fly to oahu and stay in waikiki for maybe 3 days pre cruise (or post cruise if you like) and then you sail to Kauai, Hilo and Kona (Big island) and Maui for 2 days. All the port stops are at least for one day and it's a great way to see all the islands w/o having to fly and deal with airport hassle. Plus you can get wined and dined on the fabulous cruise ship and really enjoy your honeymoon.

Just remember to take somedays to your self and relax. The go-go vacations are great if you just want to see stuff. But, you'll never se everything even if you spend your life here. And...remember, slow down, relax, and enjoy paradise.

On Maui I highly suggest taking the sunset cruise on America II Yacht out of Lahaina. We did it and everybody on board had a blast!

Well I would suggest skipping Oahu completely if at all possible and dividing your time between Kauai and Hawaii or Kauai and Molokai. Kauai is the island of romance- I would say one of the most romantic places in the world and would be a wonderful place to go for your honeymoon. I'm also a fan of Molokai because it's really relaxed and is the most traditionally Hawaiian island. If Oahu is set in stone than I wouldn't rent a car and would just spend all my time on Waikiki if I were you- it's too much of a hassle to drive around here, especially if you're on your honeymoon and are looking to spend a lot of time together and not trying to find your way around. =P

i would spend six on oahu and six on maui . works out good for the deals and it's a great base. id' get a hawaian airpass 3 , 4 or five days. about 200 ? you can fly anytime 8 am to 8 pm flights every hour unlimited. mix / match any island/city. i would spend your first three days doing things in oahu. see hunuma bay for snorkeling .. drive to north shore to see wehre the world class surfers hang. go to dole plantation factory for a pineaple tour. do a day at the beach pool / nice dinner / go dancing. go to dinner show. day four i would fly to big island kona - rent a car - enjoy drive around island / see black sand beaches / stop at the kona coffee stands with look out points over the beaches. fly back to oahu end of day. kaui is a day trip too. no more needed. you see the grand canyon , yes , it is beautiful , do the helicopter tour and you've done it all. fly in out of oahu first in / last out flights again. day six you can use to fly again for free if you want or stay in oahu / pick your favorite again or you can cover the other half of big island which i would probably do again. fly from kona to maui on the pm of day six and you have two days to fly make day trips to anyplace you want . spend the last three days doing the maui stuff , road to hana, kahalui lunch / beaches kanapalli , luaia / dance show, a day over at malokini for snorkeling would be perfect. have a great time . you might be able to consolidate down to a 3 4 day air pass. they are great. the flights take 1/2 hour. they give you a pog juice to dirnk and when you are done / they collect the cups and it's time to land. it's small jet service with the most professional beautiful hawaiian young lady flight attendents you would ever want to meet.

you would want to book for your flights from the mainland into oahu and out of maui using this scenario . or buy a cheap one way pass on haiwaiin to connect back to oahu. have a great time . just do what you both want to do and enjoy time away from the stress of the world. take care and happy honeymoon!

Are you kidding ... time in airports and travel is NOTHING when your travelling inter-island. I say to not take that into consideration. I'd spend 4 days on oahu ... lots of history there. Kaui JUST reopened their Fern Grotto ... its cheap and you should def. go! You don't wanna go to the Big Island? There is alot there ... Maui and Kaui are really similar. The Big Island has several eco systems ... lots of great food places and a volcano. (and a winery nearbye ... haha). Anyway ... have fun!

Theres many things to do on oahu..well heres the list of stuff that my family and i did and things that i wish we had of had more time to do.

- Pearl Harbor & U.S.S Missouri Ship - this is a must see! i didnt think i would be impressed at all, but this was one of my favorite parts to our trip. it is very interesting and you actually get to tour the missouri battleship. then pearl harbor is just interesting because its something that you always have learned about in history class, but then you are experiencing it first hand. its amazing.
- Sea Life Park - it was something to see, but it wasnt that great. they did have wonderful dolphin and sea lion shows, but it wasnt what i thought i was going to be. its actually rather small and you can see it all in a matter of an hour tops. but if you are going to swim with the dolphins or walk underwater then it would have been cool but i didnt do any of those things. Also, we did the Sea Life Park luau and i dont reccommend it! i honestly HATED the food there and the entertainment was very amatured too. Gerrmaines is suppose to have a good luau, so you may check it out.
- Haunama Bay (snorkeling) - I loved this! it was just a day to go out and see all the fish in the coral reef, as well as relax on the beach. it was wonderful and cheap too! it only cost us our transporation out there...rental equipment to snorkle and then $5 to enter the park. which isnt bad at all.
- Dole Plantation and North Shore Tour - we did this all in one day and the dole plantation was another thing that i wasnt that impressed with, but if you do go there, you have to get some pineapple chilli and pineapple whip ice cream..both are simply delicious!
- Swap Meet - Aloha stadium - its a HUGE flee market. it costs about $3 to get in and you can stay there all day and get awesome bargains! i got a really cute binkini for $13 dollars.
- International Marketplace - Great shopping as well! its something that you have to see - they have everything and anything!
- Waikiki Beach - awesome place to just relax and watch the people. also if you want to be relaxed and have fun at the same time...go to an ABC store (they're all over waikiki) and get a floatie and float around in the ocean...its wonderful! i thought i was going to fall asleep once.

thats all the places that we visited. we also wanted to visit the zoo and the aquarium because we actually heard that the zoo was suppose to be better than Sea Life Park. i dont know how true that is, but it might be worth it just to go see what all it has. also, i wanted to go parasailing, but i never got around to doing that either.

We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel and if you dont know yet where you are going to stay then you should check that place out. its really nice and has a great location. its right across the road from waikiki beach and within walking distance of the international marketplace as well as great places to eat. the hotel also has a restraunt in it that on certain nights has an all you can eat buffet of crab legs and prime rib, plus alot of other stuff too! it was great and actually not that unreasonably priced!

I've never been to any of the other places you are going, but I hope i helped you out with things to do on Oahu.

hope you have fun in hawaii and i hope that i have helped you out and answered your questions!! ALOHA!
