Rock Crosses Over to Addiction Help In a Surprising Way
Industrial rock music has often been darker, more negative, yet that is beginning to change. There is this upbeat synth-rock I saw by Matt Soren that has a fresh perspective on alternative rock. His CD is a mix of recovery music and the process of beating addiction.
There are some music downloads on his site at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like the mixes are provisional in lou of official mixes. They sound professional to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to see more electro-rock like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more aggressive way from a person that has already been through it and is making a difference for others. It’s nice to have this type of rock coming from the industrial scene which is normally darker in nature. Very cool.
In addition, he has free tracks you can get from his website and more in his insiders area which is all free. I also saw discounts, graphics, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be exciting to get the album once it is finished. That’s my two cents!
